Letter from a Airline pilot:  

 

He writes: 

 

My lead flight attendant came to me and said, "We have an H.R. On this flight."  (H.R. Stands for human remains.)

 

"Are they military?" I asked. 

'Yes', she said. 

'Is there an escort?' I asked. 

'Yes, I already assigned him a seat'. 

'Would you please tell him to come to the flight deck. You can board him early," I said.

A short while later, a young army sergeant entered the flight deck. He was the image of the perfectly dressed soldier. He introduced himself and I asked him about his soldier. The escorts of these fallen soldiers talk about them as if they are still alive and still with us. 

'My soldier is on his way back to home’ he said. He proceeded to answer my questions, but offered no words.

I asked him if there was anything I could do for him and he said no. I told him that he had the toughest job in the military and that I appreciated the work that he does for the families of our fallen soldiers. The first officer and I got up out of our seats  to shake his hand. He left the flight deck to find his seat. 

We completed our pre-flight checks, pushed back and performed an uneventful departure. About 30 minutes into our flight I received a call from the lead flight attendant in the cabin. 'I just found out the family of the soldier we are carrying, is on board', she said. She then proceeded to tell me that the father, mother, wife and 2-year old daughter were escorting their son, husband, and father home. The family was upset because they were unable to see the container that the soldier was in before we left. We were on our way to a major hub at which the family was going to wait four hours for the connecting flight home.

The father of the soldier told the flight attendant that knowing his son was below him in the cargo compartment and being unable to see him was too much for him and the family to bear. He had asked the flight attendant if there was anything that could be done to allow them to see him upon our arrival. The family wanted to be outside by the cargo door to watch the soldier being taken off the airplane. I could hear the desperation in the flight attendants voice when she asked me if there was anything I could do. 'I'm on it', I said. I told her that I would get back to her.

Airborne communication with my company normally occurs in the form of e-mail like messages. I decided to bypass this system and contact my flight dispatcher directly on a Secondary radio. There is a radio operator in the operations control center who connects you to the telephone of the dispatcher. I was in direct contact with the dispatcher. I explained the situation I had on board with the family and what it was the family wanted. He said he understood and that he would get back to me. 

Two hours went by and I had not heard from the dispatcher. We were going to get busy soon and I needed to know what to tell the family. I sent a text message asking for an update. I Saved the return message from the dispatcher and the following is the text: 

'Captain, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. There is policy on this now and I had to check on a few things. Upon your arrival a dedicated escort team will meet the aircraft. The team will escort the family to the ramp and plane side. A van will be used to load the remains with a secondary van for the family. The family will be taken to their departure area and escorted into the terminal where the remains can be seen on the ramp. It is a private area for the family only. When the connecting aircraft arrives, the family will be escorted onto the ramp and plane side to watch the remains being loaded for the final leg home. Captain, most of us here in flight control are veterans.. Please pass our condolences on to the family. Thanks.'

 

I sent a message back telling flight control thanks for a good job. I printed out the message and gave it to the lead flight attendant to pass on to the father. The lead flight attendant was very thankful and told me, 'You have no idea how much this will mean to them.' 

Things started getting busy for the descent, approach and landing. After landing, we cleared the runway and taxied to the ramp area. The ramp is huge with 15 gates on either side of the alleyway. It is always a busy area with aircraft manuvering every which way to enter and exit. 

When we entered the ramp and checked in with the ramp controller, we were told that all traffic was being held for us. 

'There is a team in place to meet the aircraft', we were told. 

It looked like it was all coming together, then I realised that once we turned the seat belt sign off, everyone would stand up at once and delay the family from getting off the airplane. As we approached our gate, I asked the co-pilot to tell the ramp controller we were going to stop short of the gate to make an announcement to the passengers. He did that and the ramp controller said, 'Take your time.' 

I stopped the aircraft and set the parking brake. I pushed the public address button and said, 'Ladies and gentleman, this is your Captain speaking I have stopped short of our gate to make a special announcement. We have a passenger on board who deserves our honor and respect. His Name is Private XXXXXX, a soldier who recently lost his life. Private XXXXXX is under your feet in the cargo hold. Escorting him today is Army Sergeant XXXXXXX. Also, on board are his father, mother, wife, and daughter. Your entire flight crew is asking for all passengers to remain in their seats to allow the family to exit the aircraft first. Thank you.' 

We continued the turn to the gate, came to a stop and started our shutdown procedures. A couple of minutes later I opened the cockpit door. I found the two forward flight attendants crying, something you just do not see. I was told that after we came to a stop, every passenger on the aircraft stayed in their seats, waiting for the family to exit the aircraft. 

When the family got up and gathered their things, a passenger slowly started to clap his hands. Moments later more passengers joined in and soon the entire aircraft was clapping. Words of 'God Bless You', I'm sorry, thank you, be proud, and other kind words were uttered to the family as they made their way down the aisle and out of the airplane. 

They were escorted down to the ramp to finally be with their loved one. 

Many of the passengers disembarking thanked me for the announcement I had made. They were just words, I told them, I could say them over and over again, but nothing I say will bring back that brave soldier. 

I respectfully ask that all of you reflect on this event and the sacrifices that millions of our men and women have made to ensure our freedom and safety

Our president...story of resilience

 

We have a tough President in her.

Shrimati Draupadi Murmu’s personal life is a story of resilience and ‘self-pride’. There was an unforgettable moment for her in 2009 when her 25-year-old son Lakshman died unexpectedly after attending a gathering in Bhubaneshwar. His death broke her. Supriya Kumari, head of the Brahma Kumari ashram in Rairangpaur, Odisha says, “She was completely shattered. She wasn’t having any life within her to even talk.”

In one of the talks on Brahma Kumari’s television programme, Draupadi Murmu herself narrated this event, “The tsunami came into my life in 2009. It was a huge jolt to me. I couldn’t hear anything for a few days. I slipped into depression. Log kehte the ye to mar jaegi (People thought I will not survive). But, no, I wanted to live.”

After two months, she visited Supriya Kumari in the Brahma Kumaris ashram, completed a course and learnt Sahaj Rajyog. She recovered by changing her life. Since then, *she gets up every day around 3.30 am* and retires to *bed by 9.30 pm*. She *does yoga and meditation unfailingly and is punctual as well*. The spiritual bent of life not only survived her but stabilized her too.

But tragedy befell Murmu again when her younger son, Shipun, died in a road accident. When his body was brought home, she was broken completely, once again.

Rajesh Sharma, a local journalist who was present at her home, says, “She was crying uncontrollably. She broke down before her son’s body. She raised her hands to the sky, asking, ‘God, what more do you want from me? What is left now?’” The catastrophe came in droves.

In an indescribable series of events, her mother and a younger brother died within a month. And a year later, due to deep depression, her husband, Shyam Charan Murmu, died as well.

At that point, Droupadi Murmu told a TV anchor with pain in her voice: “When my second son died, the jolt was a little less than before because I was doing meditation. My husband wasn’t as strong as me, so he couldn’t survive.” She insisted on her only daughter, Itishree, to marry and lead a normal life. *After the deaths of five family members, she turned to spirituality and vegetarianism*. When she was the governor of Jharkhand (2015-2021), she made the kitchen completely vegetarian. She is likely to bring many fundamental changes in the running of the government in the Rashtrapati Bhavan if she becomes the President.

Draupadi Murmu has *donated her family’s land in Pahadpur for public causes*. She runs the SLS residential school in memory of her husband and two sons. At the exact location, she has made samadhis in their memory. It’s a heart-wrenching sight.

At the same time when you see tribal girls and boys getting free education and decent surroundings around samadhis, you can visualise carving out a beautiful future out of a deathly past.

A generation without reading..

 *A GENERATION WITHOUT READING IS A GENERATION WITHOUT HOPE*

(Excerpt from Letter of an Indian Engineer) 

"On the flight to Shanghai, at bedtime, the cabin lights were off; I found that the awake people were using the iPads, mainly Asians; they were all playing games or watching movies. Actually, I saw that pattern right from the start. When I was at Frankfurt International Airport, I noticed that most of the German passengers were quietly reading or working, while most Asian passengers were shopping or laughing, comparing prices."

Many Asians nowadays can't seem to have the patience to sit still and read books. Once, a French friend and I were waiting for a train at a train station, and this friend asked me: "Why do Asians all chit chat or surf the internet, but no one reads books?". I looked around, and it was. People talked on the phone, read text messages, surfed social media, or played games. They are busy talking loudly or pretending to be active; the only thing missing is a sense of calm and relaxation. They are always impatient and irritable, easy to complain about, and annoyed... 

According to the media, the average person in China only reads 0.7 books/year, Vietnam with 0.8 books, India with 1.2 books, and Korea with 7 books. Only Japan can compare with Western countries with 40 books/year; Russia alone is 55 books. In 2015, 44.6% of Germans read at least one book a week - similar numbers for the Nordic countries. 

In all of China's towns and cities, whether big or small, the most popular types of entertainment are mahjong parlours, food stalls, and PC bangs. Whether in the internet shop or the school's computer room, most students surf social media, chat or play games. The number of students who look up documents online is minimal. As for the managers, for example, businesses, all day busy dealing with reviews, receiving guests, and partner meetings,... so when I asked, they said they have not read books since leaving school. 

The reason for not liking reading, statistics show that there are three main aspects. 

- One is the low level of culture (not education) of the people. Therefore people always talk a lot when they meet, and chat all day without getting bored. They are always curious about other people's stories, constantly update social networks and have significant communication needs. 

- Second, from a young age, it is not nurtured into a good habit of reading. Because their parents don't have the practice to read books, the young weren't nurtured in that environment since early in their lives. Remember, a child's personality is formed mainly from the family. 

- The third is "exam-heavy education", which makes young children not have the time and energy to read books outside. Most of the time, if they even read books, those are to serve the exams. The outdated study environment has formed the habit of studying, having a degree, and then stopping reading.

Two countries that like to read the most in the world are Israel and Hungary. In Israel, the average person reads 64 books a year. From the time children begin to perceive, almost every mother teaches her children: "Books are a store of wisdom, more valuable than money, treasures, and wisdom is something no one can rob from you. Whatever you do, you have to read before going to sleep."

The Jews are the only people with no illiterate people; even beggars always have a book by their side. In their eyes, reading books is an excellent quality to judge people. During the Sabbath, all Jews stop working, and people can only stay at home to rest or pray. Shops, restaurants, and amusement parks have to close, all means of transport stops operating, and even airline companies. But there is one exception: all bookstores nationwide are still open. On this day, people come there to enjoy their reading sessions.

Hungary has nearly 20,000 libraries, and an average of 500 people have a library; going to the library is as good as going to a coffee shop or a supermarket. Hungary is also the country with the most significant number of people reading books in the world, with more than 5 million people reading regularly every year, exceeding a quarter of the population of this country. 

Knowledge is power, and knowledge is property. A country or an individual who values ​​reading and accumulating knowledge from books will be treated well. No matter what industry they work in, people who usually read have a very different way of thinking, and even if they don't have brilliant achievements, they still have a great mindset. Many races are vibrant but not civilised. Similarly, many individuals have a lot of money but cannot reach elegance just because they lack the depth of knowledge. 

The population of Israel is sparse, but the talents are numerous. Although the country's history is short, there have been eight Nobel laureates. The nature of Israel is harsh. Most of the land is desert, but they can turn their country into a verdant oasis; the food industry is sufficient for domestic supply and exports a large number to other countries. Israeli society is orderly, and Israelis win respect from people worldwide. 

Hungary is the "country of the Nobel Prize" compared to the population. The Nobel Prizes that Hungary has received belong to many fields: physics, chemistry, medicine, economics, literature, peace, etc. Their inventions are many that people usually say they cannot be counted, from small items to high-tech products. Because of reading books, a small country like them can acquire wisdom and, above all, have a superior civilization. Hungary is an immaculate and beautiful Eastern European country, and the life of ten million people is no different from the Nordic countries. 

Books don't just affect an individual; it affects society. A great scholar once said: "The history of a person's thought development is his reading history. The community will develop or stay behind, depending on how many people read books and what type of books they choose. 

*Remember: A race without reading is a race without hope. And so is a child, so is a young person."*

இனியேனும் விழிப்போமா..

 விழித்துக் கொண்டோரெல்லாம் பிழைத்துக் கொண்டார், குறட்டை விட்டோர் எல்லாம் கோட்டை விட்டார்     என்ற பட்டுக்கோட்டையாரின் வரிகளுக்கு ஏற்ப, இலங்கை நிலமை இந்தியாவுக்கு வராமல் தடுக்க, நமது இந்திய நாட்டில் தயாரிக்கப்படும் பொருட்களை மட்டுமே வாங்க வேண்டும்.

 நம்ம வீட்டு எல்லா  நிகழ்ச்சியிலும் நம்ம சொந்தக்காரர்கள் தான் கலந்து கொள்வார்கள்.

 *அமேசான்* கம்பெனிகாரனோ *பிளிப்கார்டு* கம்பேனிகாரனோ எந்த ஆன்லைன் சூப்பர் மார்க்கெட் கம்பெனிகாரனோ *உங்கள் வீட்டு நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கு வரமாட்டார்கள் என்பதை முதலில் தெரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.*

 அரசு வேலை எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் கிடைக்காது.

 கொடுக்கவும் முடியாது.

 சுயமாக தொழில் செய்யும் சின்ன கடைகளிலும் தெருவில் கொண்டு வரும் சிறு வியாபாரிகளிடமும் பொருட்கள் வாங்க வேண்டும்.

 அவர்கள் குடும்பங்கள் வாழ உதவி செய்ய வேண்டும்.

 *இலங்கையின் வீழ்ச்சிக்கு காரணம் சீனாவின் கம்பெனிகளே?!*

 சீனா பொருட்கள் மலிவான விலையில் கிடைத்ததால் இலங்கை மக்கள் சீனா தயாரிப்பு பொருட்களை மட்டுமே வாங்கி மகிழ்ந்தனர்.

 அதனால்  உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தி வீழ்ச்சி அடைந்தது வேலை இல்லா திண்டாட்டம் அதிகரித்தது.

எந்த நாடாக இருந்தாலும் சொந்த நாட்டின் தொழில்களை ஊக்க படுத்த வேண்டும்.

 பொது மக்கள் சொந்த நாட்டில் தயாரிக்கும் பொருட்களை மட்டுமே வாங்க வேண்டும்.

நமது நாட்டின் படிக்காத ஏழை மக்கள் காடுகளில் ஈத்த ஓலை புல்லுகளை சேகரித்து வெளக்குமாறு கட்டி தயார் செய்து தலையில் சுமந்து கொண்டு வீடு வீடாக சென்று விற்பனை செய்து அவர்கள் குடும்பங்கள் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

அதையும் சீனாவின் சுற்றுசூழலை மாசு படுத்தும் பிளாஸ்டிக் வெளக்கு மாறை விற்பனையில் இறக்கி அவர்கள் பிழைப்பிலும் மண்ணை அள்ளி போட்டு விட்டார்கள்.

முன் காலங்களில் தென்னை மட்டையில்  கயிறு முறுக்கி கயிற்றால் தயாரிக்க படும் தரை விரிப்புகள் பயன்படுத்தினார்கள்.

 அதை சீனாவின் சுற்றுசூழலை மாசு படுத்தும் ரப்பர் தரை விரிப்புகளை இறக்கி படிக்காத ஏழை மக்கள் தொழிலை இல்லாமல் செய்து விட்டார்கள்.

 ஆற்றில் கோரம் புல்லுகளை சேகரித்து பாய் நெய்து லட்சக்கணக்கான நம் மக்கள் சுயமாக தொழில் செய்து சம்பாதித்து அவர்கள் குடும்பத்தினர் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

அதையும் சீனாவின் சுற்றுசூழலை மாசு படுத்தும் பிளாஸ்டிக் பாய்களை இறக்கி அவர்கள் தொழில்களும் நஷ்டம் அடைந்துள்ளன.

 

வெளிநாட்டு கம்பெனிகளிடம் பல கோடிகள் நன்கொடை வாங்கி ஆன்லைன் கம்பெனிகளை ஊக்கப்படுத்துவதை விடுத்து

 சுயமாக தொழில் செய்யும் நம் ஊர்மக்களை தட்டி கொடுத்து ஊக்கபடுத்துங்கள். நம் கடைகளுக்கு ஆதரவு கொடுங்க.

 இல்லை என்றால் இலங்கையை விட இந்தியா  மிக மோசமான  நிலைக்கு தள்ளபடும் என்பதை புரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் உள்நாட்டு தயாரிப்பு பொருளை வாங்கி சுதேசி எண்ணங்களை மேம்படுத்துவோம், நன்றி வணக்கம்.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏻🙏🏻

*"I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I will be able to recognise you and thank you once again."*

When Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola in a telephone interview, was asked by the radio presenter, "Sir what can you remember that made you a happiest man in life?"

Femi said:

"I have gone through four stages of happiness in life, and finally I understood the meaning of true happiness."

The first stage was to accumulate wealth and means. But at this stage I did not get the happiness I wanted.

Then came the second stage of collecting valuables and items. But I realised that the effect of this thing is also temporary and the lustre of valuable things does not last long.

Then came the third stage of getting big projects. That  was when I was holding 95% of diesel supply in Nigeria and Africa. I was also the largest vessel owner in Africa and Asia. But even here I did not get the happiness I had imagined. 

The fourth stage was the time a friend of mine asked me to buy wheelchairs for some disabled children. Just about 200 kids. 

At the friend's request, I immediately bought the wheelchairs. 

But the friend insisted that I go with him and hand over the wheelchairs to the children. I got ready and went with him. 

There I gave these wheelchairs to these children with my own hands. I saw the strange glow of happiness on the faces of these children. I saw them all sitting on the wheelchairs, moving around and having fun. 

It was as if they had arrived at a picnic spot where they are sharing a jackpot winning.

I felt REAL joy inside me. When I decided to leave one of the kids grabbed my legs. I tried to free my legs gently but the child stared at my face and held my legs tightly.

I bent down and asked the child: Do you need something else?

The answer this child gave me not only made me happy but also changed my attitude to life completely. This child said: 

"I want to remember your face, so that when I meet you in heaven, I will be able to recognise you and thank you once again."

What would you be remembered for after you leave that office or place?

Will anyone desire to see your face again where it all matters?

அதை ஒட்டிச் சிறையிருந்த எல்லாக் கைதிகளையும் விடுதலை செய்தான். வந்திருந்த மன்னருக்கேற்ப வரிசை முடித்தான்

அதியமான் வாழ்வு பற்றி புற நானூறு இப்படி சொல்கின்றது

அதியமான் நெடுமான் அஞ்சியின் முன்னோர்கள் “அமரர் பேணியும் ஆவுதி அருத்தியும்” சிறப்பெய்தினர் (புறம்.99) வேளிர்கள் வேள்விக் குண்டத்தில் தோன்றியவர் என்ற வரலாறு உண்டு. சங்க காலத்தில் அரசர் வேள்வி வேட்டலை மிகச் சிறப்பாகக் கருதினர்.

சங்க காலத்திற்குப்பின் வந்த பல்லவரும் பாண்டியரும் வேள்வியில் ஈடுபாடு நிறைந்து விளங்கினர். ஒரு பாண்டிய மன்னன் காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் அக்னியில் ஹோமம் செய்தான் என்று தளவாய்புரம் செப்பேடு கூறுகிறது.

பாண்டியர்களில் அரிகேசரி மாறவர்மன் ஹிரண்யகருப்பம், துலாபாரம், பகு சுவர்ணம் என்பவற்றைச் செய்தான்

தேர்மாறன் என்னும் பாண்டியனும் எண்ணிறைந்த கோசஹஸ்ரமும், ஹிரண்யகருப்பமும், துலாபாரமும், செய்தான் என்று வேள்விக்குடி செப்பேடுகள் குறிக்கின்றன.

மாறவர்மன் இராஜசிம்மன் துலாபாரம் செய்தான் என்றும் சின்னமனூர் செப்பேடு கூறுகிறது.

பல்லவர்கள் முறைப்படி பல வேள்விகளை வேட்டவர்கள் என்று அவர்களது கல்வெட்டுகள் கூறுகின்றன. சிவ ஸ்கந்தவர்மன் என்பான் அக்னிஷ்டோமம், அச்வமேதம், வாஜபேயம் ஆகிய வேள்விகளை வேட்டான்.

குமார விஷ்ணு அச்வமேத யாகம் செய்தான். சோமயாகம் செய்யாதவரே பல்லவ குலத்தில் கிடையாது என ஒரு செப்பேடு குறிக்கிறது. அவர்கள் பல வேள்விகளை வேட்டதால் பிரும்மண்யம் நிறைந்தவராய் இருந்தனர். அதனால் பரம பிரும்மண்யர் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டனர்.

சோழர்களில் முதல் ராஜாதி ராஜன் அச்வமேத யாகம் செய்தான் என அவன் கல்வெட்டுகள் கூறுகின்றன. விஜயாலயன் வழிவந்தவர்களில் இராஜாதி ராஜன் ஒருவனே அச்வமேத யாகம் செய்தவன்.

இதோ சங்க கால புலவன் முதுகுடுமி பெருவழுதியி எழுதிய பாடல்

"நல் பனுவல், நால் வேதத்து

அருஞ் சீர்த்திப் பெருங்கண்ணுறை

நெய்மலி ஆவுதி பொங்க, பல் மாண்

வீயாச் சிறப்பின் வேள்வி முற்றி,

யூபம் நட்ட வியன் களம் பல கொல்?"

அதாவது "வேத‌ நூல் சொன்னபடி வேதவிதிப்படி நெய்யும் சமித்தும் பொரியும் இட்டு நீ செய்த புகழ்மிக்க போற்றற்கரிய பெரும் யாகங்களை செய்த யாகசாலையில் நீ நிறுத்தி வைத்த தூண்களின் தொகை அதிகமா? "

இதில் தூண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை அல்ல விஷயம், தமிழன் நெய்யிட்டு யாகம் செய்திருக்கின்றான் என்பதுதான் கவனிக்கத் தக்கது

அடுத்தபாடல்

"எருவை நுகர்ச்சி, யூபநெடுந்தூண்

வேதவேள்வித் தொழில் முடித்ததூஉம்

அறிந்தோன் மன்ற அறிவுடையாளன்"

இது கல்லணை கட்டிய கரிகாலனை பற்றி கருங்குழல் ஆதனார் பாடிய பாடல், பொருள் என்னவென்றால் "வட்ட வடிவமாக செய்யப்பட்ட மதில் சூழ்ந்த வேள்விச் சாலையில்,கருட சயனம் என்கிற வேள்வித் தூணை நட்டு வேள்விகள் பல செய்து அறிவுடையாளனாக விளங்கிய வேந்தனே"

ஆக கரிகாலன் வேள்வி செய்திருக்கின்றான், வேள்வித் தூணை நட்டிருகின்றான்.

அடுத்து ஒரு வாழ்வு தத்துவ பாடல்.

"வாழச் செய்த நல்வினை அல்லது

ஆழுங் காலைப் புணைபிறிது இல்லை;

ஒன்றுபுரிந்து அடங்கிய இருபிறப் பாளர்

முத்தீப் புரையக் காண்தக இருந்த

கொற்ற வெண்குடைக் கொடித்தேர் வேந்திர்,

யான்அறி அளவையோ இதுவே"

அதாவது, நீங்கள் வாழும்பொழுது இவ்வுலகில் செய்த நல்வினைகளைத் தவிர, நீங்கள் மறுவுலகிற்குச் செல்லும்பொழுது உங்களுக்குத் துணையாக வருவது வேறொன்றுமில்லை. வீடுபேறு ஒன்றையே விரும்பிப், புலன்களை அடக்கிய அந்தணர்கள் வளர்க்கும் முத்தீயைப் போல அழகுடன் வீற்றிருக்கும் வெண்கொற்றக் குடையையும் கொடிகட்டிய தேரையும் உடைய மூவேந்தர்களே! நான் அறிந்த அளவில் முடிவாகத் தெரிந்தது இதுவேயாகும்.

ஆம் இங்கும் யாகம் பற்றி சொல்லபடுகின்றது

மூவேந்தர் கூடிய இடத்தில் ஒளவையார் சொன்ன பாடல் இது.

"ஆன்ற கேள்வி யடங்கிய கொள்கை

நான்மறை முதல்வர் சுற்ற மாக

மன்ன ரேவல் செய்ய மன்னிய

வேள்வி முற்றிய வாய்வாள் வேந்தே " - புறம் 26

இதன் பொருள் தகுந்த கல்வி கற்று ஐம்புலன்களை அடக்கிய மனவலிமையோடு,

நான்கு வேதங்களையும் கற்ற அந்தணர்கள் உன்னைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்க, பிற மன்னர்கள் உன் சொற்படி கேட்டுப் பணிவிடை செய்ய, நிலையான பெயர் தரக்கூடிய வேள்வியைச் செய்து முடித்த பெருமை வாய்ந்த வாளினை உடைய வேந்தனே.

இதோ கோவூர் கிழார் எனும் புலவனின் வரிகள்

"மறவர் மலிந்த தன்

கேள்வி மலிந்த வேள்வி தூணத்து" - புறம் 400

அதாவது போர் மறவர்கள் மிகுந்த படைக்கலத்தையும், கேள்வி அறிவிற் சிறந்த மறையோர்கள் நிறைந்த வேள்விச் சாலையில் தூண்களை நிலைநாட்டியவன் என்று சோழன் நலங்கிள்ளியை கோவூர் கிழார் புகழ்ந்து பாடுகிறார்.

"கேள்வி முற்றிய வேள்வி அந்தணர்க்கு

அருங்கல நீரோடு சிதறிப் பெருந்தகை"

- புறம் 362

இதன் பொருள் பலநூல்களை படித்து வேள்வி செய்யும் அந்தணர்க்கு நீரைவார்த்து தானம் வழங்கும் பெருந்தகை.

இன்னும் எவ்வளவோ உண்டு, ஆம் தமிழரின் இலக்கியமெல்லாம் அவன் அந்தணர்களை ஆதரித்த கதைகளும் அவர்கள் மன்னனுக்காக வேள்வி செய்த வரிகளும் எங்கும் நிறைந்திருக்கின்றன‌

அது குறளில் உண்டு, புற நானூற்றில் உண்டு இன்னும் பல இடங்களில் உண்டு, அதை ஆதாரத்துடன் சொல்ல முடியும்

ஆக திமுகவின் முன்னாள் ஆர்மி ஜெனரலான பிக்பிரதர் பெரும் புரட்டர் , பொய்யர், ஈரோட்டு சீனியர் சிட்டிசன் சொல்லி கொடுத்த பொய்யினை தானும் சொல்லி தம்பி ஆர்டிஸ்டுக்கும் சொல்லி தமிழகத்துக்கும் சொல்லி கொடுத்த வஞ்சகர்.
